Znamy zatem piąta klasę postaci - Demon Hunter. Ponadto Metzen powiedział o tym, że tryb PVP będzie się odbywać na arenach.

hmmm z jednej strony dobrze ze tereny do expienia i duelowania beda oddzielone ale czy nie bedzie za malo miejsca? areny beda zapewne wielkosci ~szczytu arreat...

wczesniej podobal mi sie monk ale teraz demon hunter >>> all :P

czas zbierac kase na wymiane zlomu i czekac na wyjscie gry

Blizzcon dzień pierwszy:

5 postacią w Diablo III będzie Demon Hunter - postać atakująca z odległości.
Będą specjalne areny do PVP wspierane przez nowy Battle.net. Za walkę na nich będziemy zdobywać punkty, przedmioty oraz achievmenty. Punkty te będziemy tracić, jeśli walkę przegramy.
Talizmany będą trzymane w specjalnym miejscu w kształcie krzyża, zamiast w regularnym plecaku.
Runy będą jednego z typów: Crimson, Indigo, Obsidian, Golden, Alabaster

Questions and Answers. Na razie po angielsku, tłumaczenie w drodze.

Q: Any updates on the economy, or plan to change trading?

Artisans were announced a couple months ago, D2 economy had several problems like an arbitrary gold cap. Massive amount of gold input. In Diablo 3 much more control coming in, not as much thrown at you. It will be more of a reward in Diablo 3. Blizzard also now has more control over prices of items, plus the crafting system itself has lots of gold inputs that repeat. Everytime you get a new item you want to move gems, add sockets, etc. all those things cost gold. This is how Blizzard will pull gold back out of the economy.

Definitely want to support some sort of trading system so you don't have to spam chat channels. Not exactly sure how they're going to do this just yet.

A lot has been learned since the days of Diablo 2, like dupe exploits. Item system has been made more safe and secure, and Diablo 3 will have the best item system yet.

Will there be PVP gear?

There will not be PVP gear, or PVP specific stats in Diablo 3. Some skills are more PVP leaning though, it's not that they're useless in PVE, but they're better for PVP scenarios.

What is Deckard Cain doing in Diablo 3?

He's trying to thwart evil, and has been spending the past 20 years trying to find ways to stop the coming invasion of hell. He's going to make damn sure that when they do invade mankind will be prepared.

Are you trying to address story actions or interactions with different classes?

There are not different paths in the story, but different characters will react differently to points in the story. The journal will be written differently as well for every class, takes into accounts their backgrounds and backstories.

It looks like PVP is trying to be separated from the PVE experience. In previous games certain classes were good for PVP, but now it seems like you're trying to balance all for PVP?

There will be no PVP in the PVE game, which is intentional. It was used in PVE primarily for griefing (which Jay Wilson loves personally), but it hurt people's desire to use co-op. Now they can balance every class to be viable, and take away the fear of PVE co-op play with randoms.

How will resistance be handled compared to Diablo 2?

First thing Blizzard did was changed it from flat percentage to working more like defense did where it scaled with the level of the monsters. It's still a big part of the game, and a big focus of your defensive building at higher levels. They are going for high resistance monsters, but don't want to double or triple stack resistances on monsters.

Will Diablo 3's PVP arena support multi-platforms? Such as different levels of elevation?

Maybe, but at the moment they chose not to because the game does not always play great when dealing with a lot of height variation. First arenas it was found that it was a lot more fun to have a level surface, but will continue to play around with it.

Will there be implied destinies on the classes in Diablo 3, and updates on what happened in cities and factions in previous games?

Blizzard is definitely is planning on continuing destiny stories, so you can see some things from the past and how things turned out.

Will Blizzard address third party currency problems, like ladder play with alternative currencies.

Since Blizzard hasn't decided exactly how they're going to manage the trading system, it's hard to comment.

Will there be a cow level?

There is an item in Diablo 2 called the "chat" gem which will answer this question.

Two single crossbows on the demon hunter seems a little uncreative, what gives? (lots of boos)

You don't have to use the dual crossbows, you can use other items. Blizzard thinks they're great though, that they bring an added dimension that you haven't seen in other heroes before. It really speaks to who she is.

Is there any way to get dual specs so you can get PVE and PVP together?

Blizzard loves PVP, but they don't want it to become such a distraction that it unbalances PVE. So skills should be viable in both.

How will the pace transition into bossfights?

One thing that Blizzard has focused on bossfight is that they want to make them about 50% Diablo 2, and about 50% Zelda. Zelda has very straight forward boss fights but they make them interesting by having good phases and themes. It's what Blizzard is trying to implement with their bossfights.

What will Blizzard do about bots?

Blizzard will do whatever they can to stop them, and Blizzard has a lot more tools at their disposal now because technology has changed.

Will the player amount per game remain the same, or does Blizzard plan on changing it in Diablo 3?

It could change from a four player cap, but it plays very well though. It's something they'll continue to investigate over time.

Hardcore is coming back, so what will Blizzard to encourage players to not pump as much into vitality and just that?

It is Blizzard's goal to break that, the Trait system helps. Hardcore mode is hardcore though, so you are going to die. If you don't want to die, don't go into the arena with a hardcore character.

Has Blizzard considered implementing a WASD movement system?

Blizzard has played around with it, but it doesn't feel very good because it's only four directions. Mouse movement is superior, WASD inferior. At Blizzard controls are everything, and they put an enormous amount of time in them. There is a key that you can hold to keep your character in place though, currently Shift.

Are there any plans to make competitive gaming big in Diablo 2's arena?

If anything Blizzard is specifically trying to avoid that. If players want to do that, they have the power to. Blizzard will not be encouraging it though, Diablo 3's Arena is not an e-sport. If it becomes an e-sport the balance dictates everything.

How long is Diablo 3 in comparison to Diablo 2 and Lord of Destruction?

It's dramatically different depending on who's playing and the random elements that occur in every playthrough. Hard to answer really.

Would Blizzard reconsider the choice to not make Diablo 3's Arena competitive?

No. Starcraft 2's team had to make great sacrifices to build on an e-sport, but that is not what the Diablo 3 team wants to do with Diablo 3.

Will there be any changes for Battle.net in Diablo 3?

There are no plans to make regions cross compatible, but they do want to get chat channels back in for launch.

Is the stash going to be bigger, and how many characters can you have per cd-key?

Number of character per account has not been determined yet, but the number of characters will be a lot higher. Will try to make it a number that'll be really hard to hit. Blizzard will make sure that they'll never delete your characters too, even if you leave the game.

The stash is also massive, and is very very good. When someone on the team says the stash is too big, Ray hits them.

Can the stash be shared between characters to eliminate muleing?

Will there be assists for users who aren't sure about their builds, but don't want to get stuck in a bad one?

There are improvements to make builds, especially UI improvements. Abilities are tiered so you have fewer better choices at any given point. Blizzard is taking build choices and dragging them out a little bit longer so you have fewer but better choices to make, and more of them.

Nie tyle błąd, co brakująca funkcjonalność. Tak jak:

-brak udogodnienia w handlu
-brak konkretnej waluty
-brak aren PVP

Wszystko to zapowiadają poprawić. Nic, tylko się cieszyć.

Zapowiadali, że będą w D2. Nie zrobili a ludzie się tłuką po krwawych wrzosowiskach, w otoczeniu kapliczek i miejsc do ucieczek. Nie lepiej by było, gdyby było, jak na wspomnianym szczycie arreat?

no z tym szczytem arreat to tak tylko powiedzialem ale jesli grasz z normalnymi ludzmi to ufasz im ze nie beda uzywac kapliczek, studni i potionow.
a jesli juz robia te areny to rozumiem ze tam nie da sie uzywac life potionow tak? mana chyba nie przeszkadzaja. nie wiem jak jest w wowie bo nigdy nie gralem...

W wowie potiony na arenach moga uzywac tylko ludzie z alchemia (cooldown wynosi 45sekund, zaczyna sie odliczac, gdy ktos wychodzi z combat = brak akcji pvp przez 5 sekund). Potki na mane / hp dziela wspomniane cd, ale odnawiaja ~10% calkowitej wartosci jednej ze statystyk natychmiastowo.

Oprocz tego, gdy znajdujesz sie poza combatem, mozesz regenic mane pijac ogolnie dostepna wode 19200 many przez 30 sekund, odnawianie zaczyna sie po 5 sekundach od momentu rozpoczecia picia i stopniowo jest coraz szybsze.. Inny sposob to jedzenie maga - jesli sam grasz magiem albo takiego masz w timie - odnawia zarowno hp, jak i mane i dziala podobnie jak wspomniana woda. Hp mozna takze odnawiac poprzez firstaid (profesja), czyli po polsku pierwsza pomoc i uzywanie bandazy - 5.8k w ciagu 8 sekund, ticki co 1s - mozna uzywac w combat, ale kazda akcja przerywa bandazowanie (atakowanie / skakanie / ruch). Po uzyciu bandaza na graczu pojawia sie debuff, ktory trwa minute i uniemozliwia ponowne bandazowanie sie. W innych przypadkach odnawianie hp na arenach jest niemozliwe (wykluczajac oczywiscie klasy leczace siebie / inne).
